in your mind you want to get better but your heart has faced reality long ago the voices in your head laugh as you make an attempt to change while your heart cries in pain in humiliation and in sorrow days go by slow years go by fast and still you are chasing this person you see in your dreams the person you see yourself being but in reality dreams don’t come true truth is you’ll never seek recovery because this pain you are feeling in much stronger than the person you are therefore you’ll never find the person you want to be
